Accessibility statement

Our website has been designed and organised to make it as simple, intuitive and accessible as possible for users.

This statement applies to content published on the {site URL} website.

The website is run by Jon Stobart, Manchester Metropolitan University.  We want everything we do to be accessible and we’re building our website so that it can be used by as many people as possible.

We’ve designed our website so that:

  • we meet the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard;
  • you can use it on as many devices as possible and you have the same experience on each device
  • text is clear, simple and as easy to read as possible
  • you can navigate the website with different input devices (mouse, touch screen, keyboard, speech recognition software)

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you are disabled.

How accessible is our website?

We’ve designed our platform to be fully accessible and regularly review and update to ensure we remain accessible.

Our website has a large number of contributors.  When content is published, we sometimes need to fix small issues affecting individual pages.
